Curious/window shopping for now. If you were going to downsize to a smaller ”bay” boat what would you be looking at.
Been eye balling VTech, ZCB, action and a few others along these lines. Definitely needs to be a boat that can handle some slop and speed. Will only be used for cruising, sand bar.

Love my xpress H20 bay – far exceeded my expectations.

I don’t know how much smaller you’re trying to go, but there is also Gause built. https://gausebuiltboats.com/
But then, if you’re getting into that size range, you might as well go with a Winter custom. Or the ZCB 26.

I have a Polar 21 ft bay boat that i use everywhere. I fish it in the skinnyish stuff in yankeetown and often take it 45 miles offshore. Im considering selling it to build a 24 ft offshore boat with twins.

The guy who builds smith custom boats dropped a mock up photo of a super sweeting looking cat bay boat that looked like it would definitely fit the bill for handling chop and going fast. Broadwater I think is what it was called. Same guy that helped with building Cayo boats and costa cats if I remember right so it will be top quality. May be worth checking out. The zcb’s look sweet though.
