Replacing speakers in my boat. The old speakers have a 7.25 inch cutout and the new ones are 6.8 inch cutout. What would be the best way to go about install. Upgrading from pioneer 8s to infinity 8s

Starboard or even pvc board works great and less expensive. Plastics America on Adamo in Tampa for starboard. They sell by the square inch if needed or Lowes/Home depot for pvc board

I’ma go cheap cheap and use a 12×18 cutting board for the material….7.49 on Amazon….it’s just an old 93 scout nothing pretty

Any of the guys that do dash panels can cut you a perfect piece of starboard or acrylic but Why not buy the same size speakers ?

Piece of starboard to mount the speakers on then cover the old hole.
